I personally don't care what the guy does privately, and I only question the timing of the apology. But the reality is he HAD to apologize because he ultimately answers to the university's donors and corporate partners. And don't forget the culture he has to work in there. Why should he apologize? It's his life, he can do whatever he pleases. True he teaches 12 young men the game of basketball each season, but should they really be using him as a moral compass? Role models are for children, not 18 year olds. If you can vote for whom you would like to lead your country you should be able to form your own conclusions about cheating on your wife and abortion.
