Finally, media can turn attention to what’s really important

Thank goodness those annoying games are now over. With Minnesota’s overtime loss to New Orleans in Sunday’s NFC championship game behind them, our nation’s sports media can now turn their full attention to the only story they really care about: Brett Favre’s retirement.

Rachel Nichols is likely booking her flight to Hattiesburg even as I type this.

Oh, and the reason the Jets lost to the Colts was because they didn’t throw the ball enough to Braylon Edwards. Don’t believe us? Just ask Braylon Edwards.
