Tiger Woods hasn’t won a PGA Tour event in weeks, Phil Mickelson is taking time off to spend with his wife, Sergio Garcia is more confused than Sarah Palin at a Mensa convention and someone named Rory won the last event, but good news is on the way. John Daly’s six-month suspension has been lifted by the Tour. That’s right, the often-married, hard-drinking, hard-gambling, long-driving, Hooters-loving, two-time major champ is coming back. And what a more fitting event to make his return than the St. Jude Classic in mid-June. When you think of the tremendous work St. Jude has done for kids with cancer, there can’t be a better tourney to play for the man who once said, “I believe nicotine plus caffeine equals protein.” This is one trainwreck we don’t want to miss.
